Get rid of the "i can't play guitar" attitude!
I know a lot of people that says “guitar playing its not for me”, or “i can’t play guitar”. I was just like that, i tried a lot of guitar teachers and guitar lessons and it seemed like i was just running in circles and i was learning NOTHING! I was like that for a whole year, most people would think that they just suck and quit guitar forever.
I kept searching until i found a guitar teacher that actually knew how to teach me and make me understand stuff that seemed so hard or complicated and they actually were… really, really simple!
Now here are 3 tips to get rid of the “i can’t play guitar” attitude
1- Search for a teacher that likes the music styles you like and is even better if he plays in a band you would like to play (don’t ask for Jimmy Page haha), a lot of guitarists from underground bands can teach you.
2- Jam with friends, nothing is better to improve your skills with the guitar than jam with other people. You can learn some stuff by playing guitar alone but you will learn a lot more if you play with friends! Don’t be shy or whatever if they’re really advanced and you’re just a beginner… the more your friends know, the more you can learn by playing with them!
3- Download some Classic Rock guitar pro tabs and learn how to play them, Classic Rock songs use to be easy and a lot of fun to play. If you don’t have Guitar Pro you can download it HERE
Leave a comment if you are or have been in this situation!
If you’re looking for your first electric guitar and don’t know what to buy, this post is for you.
